Il Laboratorio Protetto per persone con disabilità Marakanda realizza opere d’arte, design, arredo e merchandising dal 2009 promuovendole grazie all’organizzazione di convegni, mostre ed esposizioni. L’arte è quella particolare forma di espressione, comunicazione e linguaggio universale che permette di superare le differenze fra le persone. Per questo motivo a Marakanda l’arte è il filo che unisce le diverse attività: atelier di pittura, scultura e ceramica, cucito creativo, grafica digitale, falegnameria. Di elevata qualità la produzione artistica del centro, che ha come riferimento costante quello che è stata ed è l’Art Brut, sia a livello nazionale che internazionale.
Marakanda, workshop for people with disabilities has been creating works of art, design, furniture and merchandising since 2009, promoting them through the organization of conferences, exhibitions and shows. Art is that particular form of expression, communication and universal language that allows to overcome the differences between people. For this reason in Marakanda art is the thread that unites the different activities: ateliers of painting, sculpture and ceramics, creative sewing, digital graphics, carpentry. The high quality artistic production of the center has as a constant reference of the Art Brut, both nationally and internationally.

Il servizio Montebello è un Laboratorio Protetto per persone adulte diversamente abili. Il centro accoglie adulti con disabilità psico-fisica di grado medio-lieve, di età compresa tra i 20 e 50 anni. Si trova a Sasso Marconi, a 3 km dal centro del paese, usufruisce di una struttura immersa in un’area verde attrezzata a giardino e orto di circa 4 ettari e di un’area boschiva di oltre 2 ettari. Il pensiero forte che sostiene il progetto vede nella strutturazione di un ambiente protetto, ma più vicino possibile a un contesto lavorativo vero e proprio, uno strumento adeguato alla crescita, all’acquisizione e al potenziamento di capacità relazionali, di percezione di sé e dell’ambiente da parte delle persone.
The Montebello service is a Protected Laboratory for adults with disabilities. The center welcomes adults with medium-level psycho-physical disabilities, aged between 20 and 50 years. It is located in Sasso Marconi, 3 km from the center of the village, enjoys a structure surrounded by a green area with garden and vegetable garden of about 4 hectares and a wooded area of over 2 hectares. The strong thought that supports the project sees in the structuring of a protected environment, but as close as possible to a real working context, a suitable tool for growth, acquisition and strengthening of relational skills, perception of self and the environment by people.
